Breathe Alaska offers breathwork, mindfulness, and nature-based experiences designed to help people reconnect with themselves and the world around them. We believe that true healing and clarity often begin when we intentionally slow down, turn inward, and allow the natural world to support our process.
Through guided breathwork sessions, small group tours, and immersive retreats, we create safe, supportive spaces where guests can release stress, quiet the noise of daily life, and reconnect with their own inner wisdom. Each experience is thoughtfully designed to meet people where they are, whether they are navigating stress, anxiety, grief, burnout, or simply seeking a deeper sense of peace and balance.
At the heart of our work is the understanding that emotions, trauma, and chronic stress often become trapped in the body. Our breathwork journeys help individuals gently access and release these stored patterns, allowing the body to regulate, the nervous system to reset, and the mind to find calm. Mindfulness practices are woven throughout every offering, helping participants cultivate presence, self-awareness, and a sense of grounding.
Surrounded by Alaska’s wild beauty, our guests step into an environment that naturally fosters healing and reflection. Towering rainforests, glacier-fed waters, and wide-open skies provide a breathtaking backdrop for each experience, enhancing the work of the breath and inviting a profound sense of connection to the land, to self, and to the present moment.
Whether joining us for a few hours on a guided mindfulness tour, participating in a multi-day retreat, or learning practical breathwork tools to integrate into daily life, our guests leave feeling lighter, more centered, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and clarity. Breathe Alaska is here to remind you that peace is possible, and sometimes, it begins with a single breath.
Wild Coast Excursions specializes in private and small-group brown bear viewing tours from Juneau, offering fly-in access to Southeast Alaska’s most iconic wilderness bear viewing areas, including Pack Creek on Admiralty Island, and Waterfall Creek on Chichagof Island. This focus on remote, small-group experiences delivers some of the best brown bear viewing in Juneau, the Inside Passage, and Southeast Alaska.
Our guides include former U.S. Forest Service Wilderness and Pack Creek Rangers, and lead bear viewing guides with over a decade of wilderness bear guiding experience and who are trained in bear behavior, responsible wildlife management, natural history, safety, and Leave No Trace ethics. Wild Coast Excursions is a leader in responsible wilderness travel, operating under exclusive special use permit and prioritizing wildlife well-being on every trip. We operate all carbon-negative trips through emission reductions in partnership with the Alaska Carbon Reduction Fund / Alaska Heat Smart program, and incorporate regenerative practices such as efficient flight scheduling, composting and recycling, local sourcing, and using reusable or compostable packaging for our trip’s catered meals. Who We Are
We’re locals who are passionate about sharing all that we love about Alaska.
That’s why we create great adventures that show off her beauty and thrills with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. We hire and train our staff for exceptional customer service and keep our state-of-the-art equipment up to the highest standards for safety. So you get authentic Alaska, guided by those who love her.
What We Do
From the sky, you can see the grandeur of the fjords. From the zip line, you can feel the adrenaline as you soar through the treetops. From behind the wheel of your kart, you experience the landscape as a living thing. From the ground, you’ll see bears, eagles and other wildlife. No matter if you’re at elevation 0’ or 3,000’, you’ll experience the adventure that is Alaska. There’s a tour for every age, interest and fitness level. From an informative walk in the rainforest to a stunning flight over a fjord, there’s an awesome, must-have experience waiting for you.
Join me for a custom walking tour or hike in Seldovia! If you are interested in natural and cultural history, birds, wildflowers, photography, and tidepools, this will be a good fit for you. I will work with you to create an experience that is a perfect fit for your interests and abilities, whether it’s a relaxing stroll around town or a hike in the wilderness.
I’ve been running my woman-owned, single-employee business since 2018, and strive to create a travel experience of the sort I would like to have myself: affordable, human-powered recreation, quality insider knowledge with a local guide, personal attention, and small group size. Contrary to the current travel industry practices, rather than selling you an expensive package deal, I take an à la carte approach. You only pay for the services or items that you want.
Located across Kachemak Bay from Homer, Seldovia is accessible only by boat or plane and offers you a vacation from your vacation. It’s the perfect place to get away from it all, see the real Alaska, and take a big breath of fresh air. Although it’s an easy day trip from Homer, I recommend you spend at least one night. No matter how long you stay, you’ll wish you had more time here.
As part of my low carbon footprint lifestyle, I don’t own a vehicle. If you’d like to go beyond the Main Street area we will hire a taxi or rent a golf cart. This supports other local businesses and makes your tour custom-tailored to your needs.
I keep it simple and organic, and go with the flow — or “live by the tide,” as we say here in Seldovia!
Hope to see you here soon.
